Cinquain poems

A cinquain poem is a verse of five lines that do not rhyme. The cinquain poem was created by Adelaide Crapsey.

What is the structure of a cinquain?

A cinquain consists of five unrhymed lines.
Each line has a set number of syllables
See below:
Line 1: 2 syllables
Line 2: 4 syllables
Line 3: 6 syllables
Line 4: 8 syllables
Line 5: 2 syllables
Students in the second class have written some poems that are a sort of variation of the standard cinquain poem. The focus has been on the adjectives used to describe one's personality.

This is the pattern

On the first line......someone's name
On the second line two adjectives to describe the person
On the third line three verbs to show what the person likes doing
On the fourth line another adjective
On the fifth line just three words to describe the person.
Some students have chosen friends and relatives, some others have chosen famous people.
